Среди них необходимо отметить уменьшение инсулинорезистентности (ИР), улучшение эндотелиальной функции и эластических свойств сосудов среднего и крупного калибров. Хотя ниша применения этого класса препаратов в Российских рекомендациях по диагностике и лечению артериальной гипертонии обозначена как сопутствующие метаболические нарушения, в реальной клинической практике их назначение может быть значительно шире; эту группу препаратов можно применять и в ситуациях, связанных с повышением активности симпатической нервной системы – у женщин в постменопаузе, ИР, при хронических обструктивных болезнях легких и бронхиальной астме.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review contains original data and international studies’ results demonstrating that selective I1 imidazoline receptor agonists, and, in particular, Albarel®, a new sympatholytic agent, provide not only adequate and longterm blood pressure control, but also other beneficial metabolic and vascular effects. Most important ones are insulin resistance reduction, improvement of endothelial function and elasticity in middle-sized and large vessels. In Russian guidelines on arterial hypertension diagnostics and treatment, this medication class is recommended in patients with metabolic disturbances.
