Проанализированы антигипертензивные эффекты ингибитора ангиотензин-превращающего фермента (АПФ) периндоприла. Отмечено, что в исследовании ASCOT-BPLA уровень артериального давления (АД) на режиме терапии амлодипином ± периндоприлом был ниже, чем на терапии атенололом ± бендрофлуметиазидом (среднее различие 2,7/1,9 мм рт.ст.). Максимальное различие АД составило 5,9/2,4 мм рт. ст. Приведены результаты крупных исследований, подтверждающих высокую эффективность и безопасность периндоприла у больных артериальной гипертонией.

Antihypertensive effects of an ACE inhibitor perindopril were analyzed. In ASCOT-BPLA Study, blood pressure (BP) level for amlodipine ± perindopril treatment was lower than for atenolol ± bendroflumethiazide treatment (mean difference 2.7/1.9 mm Hg). Maximal BP difference was 5.9/2.4 mm Hg, by Month 3 of the therapy. Results of large-scale studies, confirming perindopril high efficacy and safety in arterial hypertension patients, were presented.
