Высокая эффективность и безопасность применения β-адреноблокаторов (β-АБ) у пациентов с ишемической болезнью сердца (ИБС) в настоящее время четко определены и продемонстрированы результатами большого количества клинических исследований. β-АБ эффективны и безопасны в случае правильного режима дозирования и учета противопоказаний. Показано, что β-АБ достоверно снижают общую смертность и частоту внезапной сердечной смерти у больных ИБС.

High effectiveness and safety of beta-adrenoblockers (BB) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) have been proven by manifold clinical trials. BB are effective and safe, provided dose regimen is correct and contraindications are taken into account. BB significantly reduce total mortality and sudden cardiac death risk in CHD patients.
