Уделено особое внимание техническим и клиническим проблемам использования тонометров и непосредственно самого метода в целом.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article describes in detail the evidence on validation and classification of existing devices for blood pressure self-control (BPSC). The strengths and limitations of BPSC are discussed, together with modern approaches to research and clinical application of BPSC as independent method or in combination with traditional BP measurement. The current clinical and epidemiologic evidence on BPSC is analysed. Technical and clinical aspects of the method in general and of tonometer use, in particular, are emphasised.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>самоконтроль артериального давления</kwd><kwd>валидизация</kwd><kwd>прогностическая ценность</kwd><kwd>утренняя артериальная гипертония</kwd><kwd>антигипертензивная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>blood pressure self-control</kwd><kwd>validation</kwd><kwd>prognostic value</kwd><kwd>morning arterial hypertension</kwd><kwd>antihypertensive therapy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">2003 European Society of Hypertension-European Society of Cardiology guidelines for the management of arterial hypertension.
