В статье рассматриваются особенности артериальной гипертензии у пациентов старшей возрастной группы. Проанализированы результаты 14 крупных, проспективных, рандомизированных, клинических исследований за последние 20 лет, посвященных эффективности антигипертензивной терапии у лиц пожилого возраста старше 60 лет.

The article is devoted to arterial hypertension (AH) features in elderly patients. The results of 14 large-scale prospective, randomised clinical trials, conducted in the last 20 years and focused on antihypertensive therapy effectiveness in patients over 60 years, are analysed.
