С одной стороны, каротидный, как и феморальный атеросклероз — это болезнь, которую непосредственно надо лечить, с другой стороны, — это модификатор сердечно-сосудистого риска. Данный обзор посвящен аспектам стратификации сердечно-сосудистого риска в зависимости от выраженности и скорости прогрессирования атеросклеротического процесса в сонных и бедренных артериях.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Currently, the concept of atherosclerosis has undergone a number of changes. On the one hand, carotid atherosclerosis, like femoral, is a disease that must be treated directly, and on the other hand, it is a modifier of cardiovascular risk.
