Диагностика и лечение таких больных сопряжены с определенными трудностями. В данном обзоре приведены данные о распространенности семейной гиперхолестеринемии, рассмотрены особенности выявления больных с подобным диагнозом, профилактики неблагоприятных сердечно-сосудистых событий, обсуждены вопросы назначения гиполипидемической терапии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Familial hypercholesterolemia is the most common hereditary disease characterized by an increase in low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels and the premature development of atherosclerosis-related cardiovascular diseases. Diagnosis and treatment of such patients are associated with certain difficulties.
