Помимо выявления рака молочной железы, на маммограмме отчетливо визуализируется сосудистый кальциноз, который ассоциируется с увеличенным риском сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний, атеросклерозом различной локализации и рядом других хронических неинфекционных заболеваний. В статье представлен клинический случай пациентки в постменопаузе с сочетанием кальциноза артерий молочной железы и остепороза. Возможность выявления женщин с риском заболеваний не-онкологического генеза существенно расширяет перспективы использования маммографии, как скриниговой методики.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Mammography is one of the most common screening test in the female population. In addition to identifying breast cancer, vascular calcification is clearly visualized on the mammogram, which is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, and a number of other chronic non-communicable diseases. The article presents a case report of a postmenopausal woman with breast artery calcification and osteoporosis.
