Определение ассоциации однонуклеотидного полиморфизма (Single nucleotide polymorphism, SNP) -1562C&gt;T (rs3918242) в гене металлопротеиназы 9 (ММП-9) с наличием артериальной гипертонии (АГ) у лиц европейской и южно-азиатской этнической принадлежности Приморского края и Сахалинской области.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Проведен анализ основных и дополнительных факторов риска развития сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний (35 параметров) у 377 человек при выполнении регионального этапа исследования ЭССЕ-РФ (Эпидемиология сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний и их факторов риска в регионах Российской Федерации), 2014-2019 гг, из них 240 человек европейской (славянской) и 137 человек южно-азиатской (корейской, мигранты 2-3-ого поколений) этнической принадлежности. Идентификацию точечных замен в гене ММП-9 c.-1562C&gt;T (rs3918242) осуществляли методом Real-Time PCR по технологии TaqMan.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. По сравнению с корейцами у славян обнаружено более высокое значение артериального давления (р=0,002). Не выявлено статистически значимых различий между этническими группами (р=0,07) при определении сердечно-сосудистого риска по шкале SCORE (Systematic Coronary Risk Evaluation). Статистически значимые различия (р=0,003) определены между показателями сердечно-сосудистого риска для здоровых корейцев и пациентов с АГ. Показано, что среди больных АГ скорость пульсовой волны превышала рекомендованные значения у 22,2% европейцев и у 46,6% лиц корейской этнической принадлежности (p=0,003). Количество обследуемых больных АГ европейцев и минорного аллеля Т в полиморфном локусе rs3918242 гена ММП-9 превышало в 2,6 раза число условно-здоровых лиц — отношение шансов (ОШ)=4,7 с 95% доверительным интервалом: 1,1-7,8 (р=0,03). При изучении частоты распределения аллеля Т указанного гена у корейцев Сахалинской области ассоциации SNP с наличием АГ не обнаружено — ОШ=0,81 с 95% доверительным интервалом: 0,125,54 (р=0,83). Причем в популяции южно-азиатов преобладали гетерозиготные носители Т аллеля, что значимо (p=0,002) отличалось от европейцев, у которых, в основном, выявлялся гомозиготный СС генотип.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Однонуклеотидные вариации в гене ММП-9 C-1562T обнаруживались преимущественно у больных АГ европейской популяции населения Дальнего востока, тогда как у корейцев значимой связи между носительством минорного аллеля Т в этом гене и наличием заболевания не установлено.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To determine the association of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) -1562C&gt;T (rs3918242) in the matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) gene in hypertensive (HTN) in individuals of European and South Asian ethnicity of Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin Oblast.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The analysis of conventional and additional risk factors for cardiovascular diseases (35 parameters) in 377 people as a part of regional stage of the Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases and their Risk Factors in Regions of Russian Federation (ESSE-RF) study (2014-2019), of whom 240 people of European (Slavic) and 137 people of South Asian (Korean, second- and third-generation immigrants) ethnicity. Substitutions in the MMP-9 gene -1562C&gt;T (rs3918242) was identified by real-time polymerase chain reaction using TaqMan technology.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Compared to Koreans, the Slavs have a higher blood pressure (p=0,002). There were no significant differences between ethnic groups (p=0,07) in cardiovascular risk levels using the Systematic Coronary Risk Evaluation (SCORE). Significant differences (p=0,003) were determined in cardiovascular risk levels for healthy Koreans and HTN patients. It was shown that among patients with HTN, the pulse wave velocity exceeded the recommended values in 22,2% of Europeans and in 46,6% of Koreans (p=0,003). The number of hypertensive Europeans and minor MMP-9 rs3918242 T allele exceeded 2,6 times the number of healthy persons (odds ratio, 4,7; 95% confidence interval: 1,1 -7,8 (p=0,03)). MMP-9 rs3918242 T allele in Koreans of the Sakhalin Oblast was not associated with HTN (odds ratio, 0,81; 95% confidence interval: 0,12-5,54 (p=0,83)). Moreover, in South Asian population, heterozygous carriers of T allele prevailed, which significantly (p=0,002) differed from Europeans, who, in general, had a homozygous CC genotype.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
