Оценить частоту и  структуру поражений верхних отделов желудочно-кишечного тракта (ЖКТ), а  также факторов, ассоциированных с их развитием, у пациентов с атеросклерозом артерий нижних конечностей (АНК).</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и  методы</title><p>Материал и  методы. Дизайн исследования: ретроспективный анализ медицинских карт 258 пациентов с  атеросклерозом АНК. Всем пациентам были проведены: мультиспиральная компьютерная томоангиография висцеральных ветвей брюшной аорты и АНК и эзофагогастродуоденоскопия. </p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Эндоскопические признаки поражения верхних отделов ЖКТ выявлены у 164 (63,6%) исследуемых, в частности, эрозивно-язвенные гастродуоденопатии (ЭЯГ) у 57,8% больных. Все пациенты были разделены на две группы: I группа — 149 (57,8%) пациентов с ЭЯГ, II группа — 109 (42,2%) пациентов без ЭЯГ. В I группе пациентов была зафиксирована более высокая частота атеросклероза мезентериальных артерий (МА) — 61,7 vs 43,1% (p=0,003). Независимым фактором, ассоциированным с  развитием ЭЯГ у  пациентов с  атеросклерозом АНК, является атеросклероз МА — относительный риск: 4,43; 95% доверительный интервал: 1,15-17,12 (p=0,031).</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. У пациентов с атеросклерозом АНК с высокой частотой имеют место заболевания верхних отделов ЖКТ (63,6%), среди них ЭЯГ (90,9%). К  факторам, ассоциированным с  развитием эрозий и язв у пациентов с атеросклерозом АНК, относится атеросклероз МА.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To assess the prevalence and structure of upper gastrointestinal (GI) lesions, as well as the factors associated with their development, in patients with lower extremity peripheral artery disease (PAD).</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. This retrospective analysis of medical records with lower extremity PAD includes data from 258 patients. All patients underwent multislice computed tomography angiography of abdominal aortic visceral branches and lower limb arteries, as well as esophagogastroduodenoscopy.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Endoscopic evidence of upper GI lesions was detected in 164 (63,6%) patients. In particular, gastroduodenal erosions and ulcers were observed in 57,8% of patients. All patients were divided into two groups: group I — 149 (57,8%) patients with gastroduodenal erosions and ulcers, group II  — 109 (42,2%) patients without it. In group I patients, a higher incidence of mesenteric artery disease was recorded  — 61,7 vs 43,1% (p=0,003). An independent factor associated with the development of gastroduodenal erosions and ulcers in patients with PAD is mesenteric artery disease (relative risk: 4,43; 95% confidence interval: 1,15-17,12 (p=0,031)).</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. In patients with lower extremity PAD, upper GI diseases (63,6%) occur with a high frequency, while gastroduodenal erosions and ulcers was observed in 90,9% of them.
