Изучить уровень лептина в сыворотке крови у пациентов с метаболическим синдромом (МС), в т.ч. в сочетании с ишемической болезнью сердца (ИБС) для определения возможной прогностической роли этого маркера в возникновении ИБС при МС.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследованы 43 пациента с МС, из них 36 больных ИБС, а также 33 пациента без МС, среди которых ИБС диагностирована у 18 человек. Средний возраст пациентов в группе МС на момент включения в исследование составил 62,7±10,3 лет. В группе контроля (без МС) — 60±14,7 лет. Уровень лептина в сыворотке крови определялся иммуноферментным анализом с помощью наборов “Platinum ELISA”.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Средний уровень лептина в группе пациентов с МС был достоверно выше — 41,89±33,28 нг/мл по сравнению с группой без МС — 17,64±16,87 нг/мл (р&lt;0,001). Выявлен достоверно более высокий уровень лептина у пациентов женского пола — 38,65±29,23 нг/мл, по сравнению с пациентами мужского пола — 19,54±27,23 нг/мл (р=0,006). Установлены прямые корреляционные связи между уровнем лептина и наличием ИБС (r=0,258, p=0,024).</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Уровень лептина у пациентов с МС выше, чем у пациентов без МС. Содержание лептина в плазме крови у пациентов с МС и ИБС выше, чем у пациентов с МС и без ИБС. Последующее изучение этой связи и понимание возможных механизмов воздействия лептина может быть использовано для повышения эффективности ранней диагностики ИБС у лиц с МС. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To assess leptin level in blood serum of patients with metabolic syndrome (MS), including comorbidity with ischemic heart disease (IHD), to reveal possible predictive value of this marker for IHD development in MS.</p></sec><sec><title> Material and methods</title><p> Material and methods. Totally, 43 MS patients studied, of those 36 with IHD, and 33 non-MS, among those had been diagnosed with IHD 18. Mean age of the MS patients at baseline was 62,7±10,3 y.o. Controls (non-MS) were 60±14,7 y.o. Leptin level in serum was measured via immune-enzyme assay “Platinum ELISA”.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Mean level of leptin in MS groups was significantly higher — 41,89±33,28 ng/mL comparing to non-MS — 17,64±16,87 ng/mL (р&lt;0,001). Women had higher leptin level — 38,65±29,23 ng/mL, comparing to men — 19,54±27,23 ng/mL (р=0,006). A direct correlation of leptin and IHD was found (r=0,258, p=0,024).</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Leptin level in MS patients is higher than non-MS. Leptin plasma level in MS and IHD is higher than MS non-IHD.
