В настоящее время в медицинских кругах  и  средствах массовой информации активно дискутируется целесообразность проведения широкомасштабных скрининговых программ, их критерии, методы исследования, периодичность проведения и т.д. В статье проводится обзор основных скрининговых программ для взрослого населения в Великобритании, Соединенных штатах Америки, Австралии, Японии и России.

Recently, medical community and mass media actively discuss the need for broad screening programs, criteria of those, investigation methods, frequency of start-up, etc. The article focuses on the main screening programs for adult citizens ofGreat Britain,USA,Australia,JapanandRussia.
