Изучить клиническое течение и исходы инфаркта миокарда (ИМ) у больных сахарным диабетом  (СД) и без  него, перенесших чрескожное коронарное вмешательство (ЧКВ).</p></sec><sec><title>Материал  и  методы</title><p>Материал  и  методы. Включены 99  пациентов  с  ИМ, которым выполнено ЧКВ со стентированием. Пациенты были разделены на 2 группы в зависимости   от наличия или отсутствия  СД: 1  группа (n=49) — пациенты с СД 2 типа; 2 группа (n=50) — пациенты без нарушений углеводного обмена. Изучали исходные клинико-демографические и лабораторно-инструментальные характеристики больных, особенности стационарного этапа лечения и исходы через 1 год после выписки из стационара.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты.  Отмечено превалирование лиц женского пола с СД 2 типа и развившимся  ИМЕНИ Выявлено, что больные СД придерживались  предшествующей   терапии  ишемической  болезни   сердца в 47% случаев и ~20% больных СД не принимали сахароснижающих препаратов.  У пациентов 1 группы достоверно  чаще диагностировали артериальную гипертонию при сравнительно низких значениях фракции выброса левого желудочка. Чаще других среди осложнений острого периода  ИМ развивалась острая  сердечная  недостаточность (14%). К концу 1 года наблюдения у больных СД недостоверно  чаще  зафиксированы  повторные  госпитализации  по всем сердечно-сосудистым причинам, а также случаи смерти. Заключение.  Течение  ИМ у больных СД имеет  определенные особенности,  характеризующиеся  сравнительно  низкими значениями сократительной  способности  сердца,  выраженного поражения  коронарного  русла,  большим  количеством  осложнений острого периода ИМ при неопределенном влиянии на однолетний прогноз.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To study the clinical course and outcomes  of myocardial infarction (MI) in diabetes  mellitus patients  (DM) and  non-diabetic,  underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. Totally, 99 MI patients included, that underwent PCI with stenting. Patients were selected to 2 groups by absence or presence of DM: group 1 (n=49) — DM type 2; group 2 (n=50) — non-diabetic  and glucose intolerance. We studied the baseline clinical and demographic,  as laboratory and instrumental characteristics of patients, specifics of in-patient stage of treatment and outcomes in 1 year after discharge.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results.  There  was  predominance   of  women  in DM2 group  and developing MI. It was found, that DM patients  adhered  the preclinical treatment  of ischemic heart disease  in 47% cases  and about 20% DM patients  did not take  glucose  lowering medications.  In patients  from group  1  the  arterial  hypertension  was  diagnosed  significantly more commonly in comparatively lower values of the left ventricle ejection fraction. More commonly than the other complication of MI, the acute heart failure developed (14%). By the end of the 1 year, DM patients nonsignificantly more  commonly  had  recurrent   hospitalizations  for  all cardiovascular causes, as the cases  with fatal outcomes.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
