Изучить показатели зубца Р у больных с метаболическим синдромом (МС) и оценить их взаимосвязь с возникновением нарушений ритма сердца.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследованы 203 мужчины с МС и 16 сопоставимых по возрасту мужчин с гипертонической болезнью без других критериев МС. Всем обследованным проводили суточное мониторирование электрокардиограммы (ЭКГ), измеряли длительность зубца Р, индекс Макруза и длительность отрицательной части зубца Р в отведении V1. В зависимости от наличия аритмии больные разделены на группы: без аритмий сердца, с желудочковой экстрасистолией, с наджелудочковой экстрасистолией и фибрилляцией предсердий.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В группах с наджелудочковой экстрасистолией и пароксизмальной фибрилляцией предсердий все показатели предсердной ЭКГ были достоверно увеличены и превышали аналогичные показатели как у лиц контрольной группы, так и у пациентов без аритмий сердца и с желудочковыми нарушениями сердечного ритма.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Увеличение общей продолжительности зубца Р и отрицательной ее части в отведении V1, а также индекса Макруза ассоциируется с повышенной распространенностью наджелудочковых нарушений сердечного ритма при МС.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To study the parameters of P wave in metabolic syndrome (MS) patients and to evaluate their relation with cardiac rhythm disorders development.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. Totally, 203 men studied with MS and 16comparable by age men with arterial hypertension alone. All participants underwent 24-hour electrocardiogram monitoring (ECG), where the P wave length was measured, as Macruse index and length of negative P phase in lead V1. According to the presence of arrhythmia, patients were selected to groups: no arrhythmia, ventricular extrasistoly, supraventricular extrasystoly and atrial fibrillation.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In supraventricular extrasistoly group and in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group all parameters of atrial ECG were significantly increased and were higher than the same parameters in control group, as in patients with ventricular extrasistoly or no arrhythmia.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
