Изучить частоту скрытого висцерального ожирения (СВО) в группе мужчин с сахарным диабетом 2 типа (СД-2), и оценить его взаимосвязь с субклиническим атеросклерозом и нарушениями пищевого поведения.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. В исследование включены 72 мужчины среднего возраста (54,1±0,7 лет). Средняя длительность течения СД-2 — 5,1±1,1 года, у 28 пациентов СД-2 был выявлен впервые при обследовании. Лица с индексом массы тела (ИМТ) &gt;30 кг/м2 и окружностью талии &gt;102 см в исследовании не участвовали. Всем больным выполнены стандартное клиническое обследование и дополнительное определение уровня лептина в сыворотке крови, содержания жировой ткани в области живота методом биоэлектрического импеданса, дуплексное сканирование сонных и бедренных артерий и анкетирование с использованием опросника ЕАТ-26.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В группе обследованных мужчин частота СВО составила 31%. В этой группе пациентов отмечали значимо более высокие значения ИМТ, окружности талии, уровня липопротеидов низкой плотности и лептина, а при оценке признаков атеросклероза сонных и бедренных артерий СВО ассоциировалось с их более частым и многофокусным поражением. При регрессионном анализе сумма атеросклеротических бляшек в исследованных артериальных бассейнах ассоциировалась с возрастом, ИМТ, систолическим артериальным давлением, уровнем липопротеидов низкой плотности.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. СВО может иметь значение в увеличении сердечно-сосудистого риска у мужчин среднего возраста с нормальным ИМТ или не страдающих ожирением.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To evaluate the prevalence of covert visceral adiposity (CVA) in males with type 2 diabetes (DM2) and to assess its relation with subclinical atherosclerosis and food-related behavior.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. To the study, 72 middle age males included (54,1±0,7 y.o.). Mean duration of DM25,1±1,1 years. In 28 patients DM2 had been diagnosed first time in the study. Those with body mass index (BMI) &gt;30 kg/m2 and waist circumference &gt;102 cm were excluded. All patients underwent standard clinical investigations and additionally, leptin levels measurement in blood serum, with bioelectrical impedance measurement of adipous tissue amount, duplex scan of carotid and femoral arteries; the EAT-26 questionnaire was applied.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In the group of participants, CVA prevalence was 31%. In this group of patients there were significantly higher BMI, waist circumference low density lipoproteides levels and leptin. At atherosclerosis assessment in carotid and femoral arteries, CVA associated with more significant and multifocal lesion.
