<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review is devoted to an actual problem of modern cardiology – atrial fibrillation (AF) treatment in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Multicenter clinical trials demonstrated that CHF patients have AF more often than individuals without CHF. Algorhythms for choosing optimal antiarrhythmic therapy in AF and CHF are proposed. Possible therapeutic strategies, including use of ACE inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists, are discussed.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>фибрилляция предсердий</kwd><kwd>хроническая сердечная недостаточность</kwd><kwd>терапия</kwd><kwd>антиаритмические препараты</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>atrial fibrillation</kwd><kwd>chronic heart disease</kwd><kwd>therapy</kwd><kwd>antiarrhythmic drugs</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Кушаковский М.С.
