Abstract

When studying the medicine history from antiquity to the present day, the issue of knowledge level that a researcher must have in order to competently select and analyze historical records, prepare a related analytical article or program cannot be ignored. The article is devoted to a new discipline, which has access to a huge part of material for analysis, which is outside the field of view of a specialist historian or a physician studying history. Familiarity with the history of teaching this discipline and the knowledge requirements of a modern Church historian can direct researchers to identify new aspects of a complete understanding of medicine history.
