Эректильная дисфункция и сердечно-сосудистые заболевания: новый взгляд на старую проблему

Аннотация

Большое количество экспериментальных и клинических данных, указывают на то, что артериогенная форма эректильной дисфункции (ЭД) является не поздним осложнением сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний (ССЗ), а ранним проявлением системной сосудистой патологии. Важным механизмом, объединяющим ЭД и ССЗ, служит эндотелиальная дисфункция, поражающая различные сосудистые системы и в т.ч. эндотелий кавернозных тел. Последнее снижает синтез и/или биодоступность оксида азота, являющегося основным медиатором эрекции. Системный характер сосудистого поражения у больных артериогенной ЭД подтверждается наличием у них признаков эндотелиальной дисфункции крупных артериальных сосудов и объясняет повышенную вероятность наличия скрытой ишемической болезни сердца. Это подчеркивает важность активного раннего выявления ЭД не только врачами-урологами, но также кардиологами и терапевтами, для которых наличие у больного ЭД должно свидетельствовать о необходимости более тщательного обследования и раннего начала лечения.
