Роль мелатонина в патогенезе сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний

Аннотация

В статье приводятся результаты экспериментальных и клинических исследований, посвященных изучению возможной роли мелатонина в патогенезе сердеч­но–со­судистых заболеваний, таких как артериальная гипертензия, коронарная патология. Кроме того, описывается участие мелатонина в атерогенезе, влияние его на агрегацию тромбоцитов. Повышение продукции мелатонина у больных с сердечно-сосудистыми заболеваниями возможно является свидетельством активизации компенсаторных механизмов на стадии функциональных расстройств с последующим истощением резервных возможностей на стадии формирования соматического заболевания. По мере увеличения степени тяжести сердечно–сосудистой патологии снижается не только продукция мелатонина в целом, но и резко нарушается ритмика его продукции.
